Personal information we collect

When you visit the Site, we may automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device. Additionally, as you browse the Site, we may collect information about the individual web pages or products that you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the Site, and information about how you interact with the Site. We refer to this automatically-collected information as “Device Information.”

Additionally when you make a purchase or attempt to make a purchase through the Site, we collect certain information from you either directly or indirectly through our payment gateway, such as your name, billing address, shipping address, payment information (including credit card numbers), email address, and phone number. We refer to this information as “Order Information.” When we talk about “Personal Information” in this Privacy Policy, we are talking both about Device Information and

Order Information.

How do we use your personal information?

We use the Order Information that we collect generally to fulfill any orders placed through the Site (including processing your payment information, arranging for shipping, and providing you with invoices and/or order confirmations).  Additionally, we use this Order Information to: communicate with you; screen our orders for potential risk or fraud; and to provide you with information or advertising relating to our products or services.

We use the Device Information that we collect to help us screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address), and more generally to improve and optimize our Site (for example, by generating analytics about how our customers browse and interact with the Site, and to assess the success of our marketing and advertising campaigns).

We may also use the Personal Information to contact you to notify you regarding your account, to troubleshoot problems with your account, to resolve a dispute, to poll your opinions through surveys or questionnaires, to send updates about our company, or as otherwise necessary to contact you to enforce our Terms of Use, applicable national laws, and any agreement we may have with you.  For these purposes we may contact you via email, telephone, WhatsApp, text messages, and postal mail.

Sharing your personal information

We share your Personal Information with third parties to be used in the manner as described above.  For example, the Site is hosted on the Wix.com platform.  Wix.com provides us with the online platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you.  Your data may be stored through Wix.com’s data storage, databases and the general Wix.com applications.  They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall. --you can read more about how Wix uses your Personal Information here: https://www.wix.com/about/privacy.

And we use the services of ShipRocket for shipping most of your orders, and share your name, address and phone number with them. Finally, we may also share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other lawful request for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights.

In general, the third-party providers used by us will only collect, use and disclose your information to the extent necessary to allow them to perform the services they provide to us.

However, certain third-party service providers, such as payment gateways and other payment transaction processors, have their own privacy policies in respect to the information we are required to provide to them for your purchase-related transactions.

 

For these providers, we recommend that you read their privacy policies so you can understand the manner in which your personal information will be handled by these providers.

In particular, remember that certain providers may be located in or have facilities that are located at different jurisdiction than either you or us.  So if you elect to proceed with a transaction that involves the services of a third-party service provider, then your information may become subject to the laws of the jurisdiction(s) in which that service provider or its facilities are located.

Agents

We employ other companies and people to perform tasks on our behalf and need to share your information with them to provide products or services to you.  Unless we inform you otherwise, our agents do not have any right to use the Personal Information we share with them beyond what we deem necessary to assist us in performing such tasks.

Security

To protect your personal information, we take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to make sure it is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed.

If you provide us with your credit card information, the information is encrypted and secured as per the security standards employed by the payment gateway provider.  Our current payment gateway is being handled by Cashfree – you can read more about their privacy and security policy here - https://www.cashfree.com/privacypolicy/.  In future we may change our payment gateway service provider and in such instances the processing, storage and usage of your payment details and information will be subject to the security standards and privacy policy of such service provider, and we will make our best endeavour to update the details accordingly.  However, we recommend that you read the privacy and security policy of the payment gateway provider before sharing your Personal Information.

Behavioural advertising

If our store is acquired or merged with another company, your information may be transferred to the new owners so that we may continue to sell products to you.
